Dear Steve,
Thank you for inspiring a whole generation,
Thank you for innovating and never compromising on quality, simplicity, innovation and a lot more,
Thank you for capturing our imagination with your vision,
Thank you for turning your vision into a reality we can’t get enough of,
Thank you for revolutionizing the computer industry, the music industry, the mobile industry, to name just a few,
Thank you for sailing Apple (and us) into your dream destination through an ocean infested with sharks and hopeless skeptics,
Thank you for being a shining light amidst the darkness,
Thank you for daring to think different.
You have made a difference.
May God bless your soul. Rest in peace.

Nothing could ever be said to capture what he has done for all of us, but this a great attempt. Well said. RIP Steve.
Thanks. RIP Steve.
Hey Adam! Nice post. When you said:
* Thank you for innovating and never compromising on quality, simplicity, innovation and a lot more
That's why Steve Jobs was fired from Apple the first time. He didn't want to compromise on quality or innovation. He predicted the Internet as we know it today years before the Internet started taking off.

Thanks for your comment Ramiro.
Although Apple had dark years without Jobs as a CEO, his years of 'exile' had prepared him for recreating Apple as we know it. He learned about failure with NExt and about success with Pixar. NExt's operating system was the core of the Apple OS X system we all know and love. So I guess not compromising on quality and innovation has paid off, hasn't it?

It was a very sad day for me as well. I burst out crying when I read the article about his passing.
I think many of us have felt like we’ve lost a leader, an inspiring hero, just like you have mentioned.
RIP Steve.
Thank you for your words Karl.
