You know this feeling when you’re bursting with energy? When there’s some power much greater than you seeking outlet? When you suddenly feel really big, really powerful and really capable, as if nothing can stand between you and success? It happens to me occasionally. Has it ever happened to you?
Well, let me ask you this: When you get this feeling, what is the next thing you do? Do you:
a. Turn on the telly for a marathon of Desperate Housewives
b. Check your email
c. Log into Facebook
d. Fill your mind with thoughts about going to work tomorrow (*sigh*)
e. Do nothing
Guess what? The right answer, I believe, should be “None of the above”. I’m going to be honest here. I used to go for e. I would ignore those rare moments thus rendering them powerless, and go on with my life.
But I was wrong. Boy, was I wrong…
Only a couple of years ago did I realize that these energized moments are when your intuition comes into play. This is when your true calling is asking your attention. In fact, it’s nothing else than your PASSION seeking realization.
I know what some of you may be thinking now.
How can I do this?
I don’t have enough money/knowledge/time/connections
What will my spouse/hubby/friends/kids say?
Do you know what these thoughts are?
Fear.
It’s your ego speaking to you, telling you why you can’t do this and that or the other, why you should, in fact, be like everybody else and lead a mediocre, boring, uninspired life with no goals or destination. Without any achievement or self-fulfillment.
So what can you do against that ongoing, demotivating self-talk within you?
Reject it. Ignore it. Train yourself to listen to your heart, to tune into your higher mind, to follow only your goals, your passion, your dreams. But how do you get started? There are many ways to get started; there are many effective techniques to acquire the right mindset to success. I will go through some of them in future posts. However, here is a simple action plan for the next time you get this energy burst, so you’re not caught off guard:
- Write your thoughts down, so you can act on them later.
- Do a relevant online search and come up with 5 matching sites.
- Bookmark these sites or add them to your RSS reader and start reading.
- Start your own blog. Get a domain name and a hosting plan and you’re in the game.
- Get a good blogging course.
- Write 10 articles about your area of interest. If you’re passionate about it you can easily come up with even more articles.
- Schedule 7 articles for the next 2 weeks, in 3-4 days intervals. Offer the remaining 2 as guest posts for blogs you’ve visited.
I believe that you owe it to humanity, to the Universe, to follow your passion. But above all, you owe it to yourself…
Take the first step. The rest will follow.
What about you?
What are your passions?
What are you doing to make them a reality?

Dear Adam,
I've been reading your post with great pleasure.
You wrote it with the passion you talk about so lively.
Great compliments to you.
There are several sparkling jewels i dicovered in the thoughts you so clearly formulated…
You speak of "true calling" … the calling is crying out to let it blossom. And we can feel it by the unstoppable burst of bright energy.
This energy, the full feeling of it, is something you have to "cultivate" ..
I will tell you a story, ok.. my story (shortly)
As a teenagers i already knew the feeling of having energy, i was convinced having great strength in my mind, the true "knowledge" and belief of being capable to reach my goals whenever i wanted …. but ….
I met two people i cared a lot about and i thougt it was mutual. I was too young to understand that not everyone had the same mindset… So i kept my passion in and for life as a secret. I had no fear to feel it, i feared that people disliked me .. and that is a fear too.
One day i met a friendly inspiring man (80 years of age – we became best friends). He encouraged me to let my desire for life grow. He held out a helping hand so i found my selfconfidence back …
I straightened my back, let a new flow of energy pass my brain and vains and i started to build my life.
I build it not in one day or week, no … it took years to be where i stand now. And the growth of human beings doesn't stop when you have reached a point… it goes on, day by day and that's the greatest treasure of it.
As you mentioned: "I believe that you owe it to humanity, to the Universe, to follow your passion. But above all, you owe it to yourself…" … that's for sure!!
Nowadays it is very easy for me to motivate all sorts of people. young, old, poor … rich …
I feel the power to have succes in all things i do … i believe .. i'm even sure everyone has the power to reach all goals they like to achieve.
And when youngsters come to me and tell me with great doses of enthousiasm that they want to live their dreams, a ray of sunshine is glittering in their eyes … yesssss!! they feel passion too, i hope they will keep their dream alive .. fulfill them one by one.. take the step, every day a new one …
By following your passion, you also learn to have respect for one another.
Trough being creative, being prepared to learn, each day … trough seeing the beauty of all these opportunities, humanity is ready to take a jump to the next level …
The Universe needs all of our energy … and we all need each other …
Adam, i hope i soon read, hear more from you. You are a very inspiring man.
Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts with us …
Have a fantastic weekend, with lots of fun, warmth and love.
Greets

Hi Sara.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment and for the beautiful story you've shared with us. I'm absolutely on the same page with you. As you've said: "The Universe needs all of our energy … and we all need each other … "
You see, when putting together this blog I often have to make choices of what type of content I'm going to share. While the type of articles that people tend to favor are "How to" articles, "20 powerful WordPress plugins", "7 steps to…" etc. I believe there's also room for these mindset articles as well. You can be an expert on SEO, traffic generation, email marketing and so on, but if you don't overcome the basic FEAR within you, and don't find the COURAGE to really pursue your true passion, regardless of what other people say or think, regardless of circumstances and hurdles along the way, you will be stuck in Sq1 and you will sabotage yourself from achieving your goals.
Thanks again,
Looking forward to hear you
Enjoy the rest of the w/e.
Kind regards and lots of love,
Adam
Hi Adam,
Thanks for your great reply.
We defenitly are on the same page.
There is not only room for these mindset articles, i think the world needs it.
I think not in terms of opportunity to talk/write about it , but as a duty… as we are all on top of what is going on in the world.
We have to take responsibility and engage people to overcome their fear, to be courageous, take the steps they need.
Life is so beautiful … it's great to feel and share PASSION en ENERGY … life's meant to be like that..
It is fantastic you made the choice to share this type of content.
We'll stay in touch
Kind regards and all the good,
Sara
